Since 1991 it has be our joy to recognize those who have make a positive contribution to our community, and this year we think you will be inspired by the life and contribution of the surprise winner.  Join with elected officials and community leaders as they honor the winner.

This year we are celebrating the Japanese Culture and its contribution and character. We felt that the restoration of the “Valley of the Heart’s Delight” mural at the community center would make honoring the Japanese-American contribution to our agricultural history timely.  Vernon Hayashida will be sharing the lived experience of Japanese-Americans, and Ty Greaves will share his wonder at things Japanese.

We want to be a voice in our community for acknowledgement and celebration.  Your attending makes a difference.
