Each Spring, BCAC board members, Members at Large, and past honorees nominate a Berryessa resident as “Citizen of the Year” for their dedication and hard work towards our community.
2015 Berryessa Citizen of the Year
Tyler Shewey
Tyler Shewey is the 25th leader recognized as Berryessa’s “Citizen of the Year”.
Raised in San Jose, Shewey graduated from Piedmont Hills High School before completing his undergraduate at UCLA in History and Political Science. He later earned his Juris Doctorate degree from the University of Pennsylvania Law School. Shewey currently serves the legal needs of the business community in Northern California through the Berliner Cohen LLP in San Jose.
Shewey has been apart of the Berryessa Citizen Advisory Council for 10 years where he served as Secretary and member of the BCAC Ad Hoc Community Outreach Committee.
