We hope you enjoyed our 34th  annual March Citizen of the Year recognition of Eric Penningion and the rich Ethnic Celebration of India hosted by Prassana Vengadam:

·         Krishna Sunkammurali, President, Reimagine Education, delivered such an informative and engaging introduction to India as part of our 34th annual Ethnic Celebration.  He highlighted that India is much like Europe, in that each state has its own language and culture for historic and geographic reasons.

·         Tanisha Shah, leader of the Intandesh Raas Team that performed a wonderful introduction to Indian Dance that transported us to a different world.

·         Purvi Shah, Picasso Art Studio, took the audience on a tour of Indian art and architecture.  Her examples showed a creativity and breadth of expression that was wonderful. 

·         Vijay Kumar and Kamaljit Kumar, owners of Kamal Spice House, who enticed the audience with an introduction to Indian food including pakoras and samosas with chutneys .

The agenda (attached) will focus on keeping our community and first responders/elected leaders connected and providing you with topics of interest.  This month the Humane Society and the SPCA will give you a perspective on all of their programs to protect our animal friends.
