BCAC – April 13th Meeting Invitation

We want to invite you to attend our April 13th General Meeting at the Berryessa Community Center starting at 7:00PM..

Our First Responders and Elected Officials will report on what is happening in our community.  Additionally, this will be an important meeting to attend in person since the Citizens Emergency Response Team (CERT) will share ways that you can prepare to minimize the impacts on you and your family in the event of a local disaster.   What’s the old adage…ounce of prevention is better than a pound of cure.  We also ask that you listen with the question:  How might I make a difference by becoming CERT certified and equipped to help my neighbors?

Teaser #1 – Our .May General Meeting will feature a Forum for the California Assembly District #24 Candidates.  This portion of the meeting is cosponsored by the Penitencia Neighborhood Association, Beautify Berryessa Neighborhood Association, and Creekside Neighborhood Association – all of us are commuted to giving you face time with the candidates asking for your vote.. Since the ballots will be mailed earlier in the month, we ask that you delay submitting your vote until you have a chance to listen to the 3 candidates share their vision and priorities.

  • NOTE – We are keen to get questions for the candidates from YOU.  Please email your questions to fowle1234@comcast.net

Teaser #2 – The Berryessa Art Festival is coming SOON – May 9th – and it takes many volunteers to deliver a day of fun, food, and entertainment.  So here are a couple of requests:

  1. Lend a hand – There are set-up needs on Friday and volunteer support throughout the day.  Send Mike Kraus an email (mkraus94@gmail.com) to get more information
  2. Support the BCAC – We will be hosting a booth to encourage awareness, and it would be awesome to have BCAC members volunteer a couple of hours of “Booth Duty” throughout the day.  All we need is your smile and welcoming way.  Send Linda Locke an email (lindalocke6@att.net) and let her know when you would like to swing by.

Your attendance at the meetings makes a difference for the CERT Team, our First Responders, and Elected Officials..  A small audience doesn’t have the same impact as a full-house.  But if there are factors that prevent attendance, we deliver a Zoom option for you to listen in:
