BCAC Members and Community Friends,

It is in sadness that we send you this message of grief and loss.  

Dr. Robert “Bob” Gross passed away on July 4th at age 92 – He was a former 20-year Valley Water Director & Alviso Historian – Korean War medic veteran and good friend to all.  Many in the BCAC knew him and his wife, Lonnie, as friends and familiar faces.  Bob was awarded the Berryessa Citizen of the Year Award in 2000, and Lonnie was recognized with the same award in 2008.  They sat together on the “Epistle side” of the hall at BCAC meetings and always asked the hard questions.  He will be missed.

Bob’s close friend, Richard Santos, also a BCAC Citizen of the Year, visited him right before passing and delivered his personal message of love and respect for his friend and mentor.
